Emilio and Angelo Cataldo have come a long way since their first taste of hairdressing as young boys helping in the fledgling salon run by their father Giuseppe.

Over the past two decades the brothers have reached the highest levels of their craft, providing leadership and direction to a new generation of Australian hairdressers and propelling the unique Cataldo style onto the front covers of the best magazines in the world.

Emilio is a creative force in the industry with one of the nation's leading eyes for fashion. His media coverage over the last year has been extensive, with over 50 pages in the top international hair magazines and he has won countless awards both nationally and internationally.

 

Angelo believes the salon's strength derives from its commitment to education. Young up-and-coming team members are shown the latest in constantly-changing cutting, colouring and styling techniques under Angelo's patient and watchful eye.

His tireless dedication to the industry has been acknowledged by his life membership to the International Hairstylists Society where he has been awarded the highest accolade of an IHS Directorship.
